The commander of Velkynvelve is a cruel drow priestess, clearly ambitious to rise in the esteem of Lolth and her house. You have at times detected an attitude of arrogance at her command of a mere outpost. A clear sense that she has greater things in mind for herself, and that the posting is beneath her. She treats both it and her prisoners with contempt.
